Students Perform at SF Fringe and for National Festival

Clips of Opera Piccola students performing at SF Fringe Festival and at the national festival of Suzan-Lori Parks’ innovative year-long series of plays, “365/365.” Our interns played major roles in scenes from “Being Something,” created by Ellen Sebastian Chang, and adapted by Susannah Wood. Our students from Oakland Tech, Fremont High and Laney College were the only Bay Area youth group that performed a week of Parks’ festival. Opera Piccola, a non profit arts company, served the Bay Area from 1989 to 2011.. Sample includes clips from a video written and performed by Oakland Tech students about a day in the life of teens in high school.
